I genuinely don't know how I survived without Waifu2x. It's an image upscaling programme that's best suited for anime-style images. This is perfect if, like me, you love older or slightly more obscure shows that don't have a wealth of images online, and all you can find is horrible crusty 200x200px images. You can use it for any style of image, but be aware that you'll get artifacts if you try to push the image too big.
I use this website to find Japanese names that include a certain kanji. For example, you can search and find all names that include 水 in them. This is great for when I'm making an OC and I want their name to be thematically relevant!
